Congratulations to BYU Chemical Engineering Class of 2024!
It is with immense pride and joy that we extend our warmest congratulations to the graduating class of 2024 at BYU Chemical Engineering. This year, we celebrate the remarkable achievements of our students, who have demonstrated unparalleled dedication and excellence in their academic pursuits.
Our department has a unique distinction this year – we observed the highest number of PhD graduates per faculty member of any department within the college. This is a testament not only to the hard work of our students but also to our commitment to advanced graduate mentoring.
From December 2023 through the graduation ceremonies of April, June, and August 2024, BYU Chemical Engineering will have proudly conferred degrees upon:
- 79 Bachelor of Science graduates,
- 2 Master of Science graduates, and
- 13 Doctor of Philosophy graduates.
Dr. David Lignell perfectly captured the sentiment of our faculty when he said, "Your gain is our loss." Indeed, while we are sad to see you leave the engineering building, we are excited about the great things you will accomplish. You have enriched our community with your creativity, your questions, and your quest for knowledge.
As you step into the world beyond BYU, remember:
