Coursework Planning

We have two suggested course schedules in Flow Chart form based on possible situations you may be in:

• Eight Fall/Winter Semesters
• Eight Fall/Winter Semesters + Two Spring Semesters (lighter loads per semester)

These flow charts are for the 2011-2012 catalog year.  Other years can be found here.

Your personal circumstances may require a customized course schedule. For example, you may be entering the university with advanced-placement credit for courses in math or chemistry, may wish to select specific electives to prepare for a summer internship, may need to include additional courses to prepare for medical school, etc. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that you meet with a faculty advisor (the department will provide one for you) to help you lay out your own course schedule.
